Ricoh GR10

The Ricoh GR10 is often described as the "little brother" of the famous GR1. Sporting the same excellent 28mm f2.8 GR lens, the GR10 does without the manual exposure adjustment and "snap focus" modes of its more expensive sibling. While build quality is not as high as in the GR1, the GR10 still features a metal shell which immediately separates it from popular (and more expensive!) plastic-shelled cameras such as the Yashica T4 and Olympus MJU II. A round rubber thumb pad makes the camera easy to grip, and its thin profile allows it to slip into a pants pocket.

The GR10 focuses quickly and shutter lag is minimal. Critically, the camera retains the manual-lever flash setting adjustment seen in the GR1 and GR21, which preserves the selected flash mode when powering the camera on or off. While not as fully-featured as the GR1, the Ricoh GR10 strikes an excellent balance between image quality, handling, and price, which makes it one of the most well-rounded compact cameras in the market.
