The Zenit FS-12 "Fotosnaiper" kit is a Soviet-made SLR-gun for steady telephoto photography. The original FS-2 was produced in the 1940s for military use, but subsequent models (of which this is the latest) were for export consumer use. The metal case has neat screw-in and snap-in spots to hold everything in place, and it can be worn as a backpack!

We were pleasantly surprised by the optical quality of the Tair-3S 300mm f4.5 found in the Zenit FS-12 Fotosnaiper kit. Depth of field is extremely shallow, but with focus dialed in it is capable of impressive portraits. Assembled into its gun stock form, this is not a camera for street photography!
