Canon 24mm f1.4 L for FD
The Canon 24mm f1.4 L is one of those legendary lenses that many photographers wish they could own at one time or another. Designed as part of Canon's professional, top of the line, L-series of lenses, this 24mm f1.4 has it all. The lens enjoys an ultra-wide angle focal length of 24mm, which is great for landscapes, cityscapes, architecture or any other situation requiring a wider field of view. In addition it has a blazingly fast f1.4 maximum aperture, all but unheard of on a lens this wide. Even more so, the optical design (10 elements in 8 groups) is top notch. The 24mm f1.4 L is known for having excellent sharpness and contrast, even wide open. It has very little distortion, chromatic aberration, fringing, or flaring. In other words, this really is about as good as it gets in 24mm.
