Spy Film for Minox 25 is slit from Rollei Ortho 25 film.
Rollei Ortho 25 Plus is a black and white, orthochromatic emulsion that has been available since at least 2009. Being an orthochromatic film, Rollei Ortho 25 is mostly sensitive to the blue and green portion of the spectrum, with some sensitivity trailing into the yellow and orange part. Technically, it has a sensitivity range of 380nm - 610nm. Effectively this means that blues and greens will overexpose and render lighter tones in images, while reds will underexpose and render darker, blacker tones. Additionally, Rollei Ortho 25 Plus is a super-low ISO film with a native ISO 25 rating. This means that it also benefits from extremely fine grain and incredible sharpness. It is a naturally high contrast film with steep gradation but pairing it with low contrast or compensating developers can also render images of much more moderate contrast.
Rollei Ortho 25 Plus is coated on a clear PET base that has excellent archival properties and is ideal for positive processing.
