The Kodak Retina I Type 010 is one of the first post-WWII Retina I models, produced between 1945-1949. It is very similar to the pre-WWII Type 148 but with a few key differences. A Type 010 never has a serial number ending in "K" like pre-WWII Retina I cameras. They can have an "EK" prefix on the serial number if they were USA imports though. The focusing ring on the Type 010 lacks the milled edge of the Type 148. The frame counter arrow is located at about the 1 o'clock position instead of the 3 o'clock position. There were both an early and late version of the Type 010 with the early version having a top plate screw to the right of the wind knob vertically aligned with the shutter button. The late Type 010, that screw is moved a bit closer to the wind knob and is vertically aligned with the cable release socket.
