You might think a slow film like Rollei Ortho 25 would be used exclusively in the bright summer months. But we recently took a roll of it on a snowshoe hike up on Mt. Hood. There can be a surprising amount of available light on snowy days like the one we found ourselves out on and we had no issue handholding exposures with this film. In addition we thought the natural contrast, fine grain, and overall look of the ortho lent itself well to the near-whiteout conditions of a snowy day on the mountain.
