Bronica SQ-Am

Released in 1983, the Bronica SQ-Am is basically a Bronica SQ-A with an integrated motor drive grip that cannot be removed from the camera.  Technically the third model the in the SQ series of medium format SLR cameras, the SQ-Am retains the additions of mirror lock-up and AE prism finder compatibility that the SQ-A featured but makes the motor drive grip one single piece with the camera body.  Apparently users found the process of connecting and removing the winder grip accessories for the SQ-A a tedious and unreliable process so the SQ-Am removes that issues by making it a permanent part of the camera.  The SQ-Am's winder requires an additional six AA batteries in addition to the single 6v PX28A battery that the camera body uses.  The winder also significantly adds to the camera's size and weight, thereby making it more preferred for studio rather than field use.
