Linhof Technika V 6x9 / Super Technika V 6x9

The Linhof Super Technika V 6x9 is technical press camera capable of producing either 6x7cm or 6x9cm frames on either cut sheet film or 120 roll film.

The Super Technika V 6x9 can be found in two main variants.  With a side-mounted rangefinder it is commonly known as a "Super Technika", without the rangefinder it usually is called a "Technika".  This is a distinction that more or less holds true across most Linhof Technika cameras.  The Super Technika V 6x9 is very similar to the 4x5 version of the Linhof Technika, probably resembling a Super Technika IV 4x5 the most closely.  Production of the 6x9 version of the Technika V began about 1963. Notable features of the Super Technika V/Technika V 6x9 cameras include center axis front tilt, front rise, front shift, rear tilt and swing (via bellows extension), quick release for ground glass back to install Super-Rollex roll film backs, as well as a rotating back. They have a tilting front bed that allows the use of lenses as wide as 53mm. Maximum bed extension along with rear bellows extension allows lenses as long as 270mm to be employed. They are typically seen with the left-handed accessory grip which is one of the better accessories that Linhof produced for their cameras.
