An Intimate Portrait of an AE-1
You ever find yourself making a photo of your partner, or child, or loved one in those casual, off-the-cuff moments? The kind of image that was not planned nor expected, it just presented itself to you. Maybe the two of you were hanging out in a coffee shop and you liked the way the light fell across their face. Or they are napping on the couch and you couldn't resist how peaceful they appear. One of those images where you catch a quiet moment from a life shared together. This portrait of my AE-1 is just one of those kinds of images. I don't remember where I was - location was not important - or even when I was. I just remember glancing at my camera sitting there and noticing its details and appreciating them in that moment for their familiarity and fondness. So I made a portrait. Naturally.
