The Minolta SRT SC-II was produced between 1977 and 1980, and was released as an update to the earlier SRT SC; though, it is probably easier to think of this camera as a slightly downgraded SRT 201 instead. The SRT SC-II came from a partnership between Minolta and Sears, who had the sole license to market and sell SRT SC-II cameras - think of SC as meaning "Sear's Camera." The SRT SC-II is pretty similar to the SRT 201, with the biggest difference being the omission of a self-timer. Having said that, these cameras are robust and reliable and make a great student or starter camera.
