Intimidated by medium format? Then try a medium format camera with few controls and absolutely zero intimidation factor. The Agfa B2 Speedex Junior is a camera that will let you enjoy learning the fun of creating 6cm square negatives without the anxiety of having to learn new camera controls.
The Agfa B2 Speedex Junior is a wonderful little folding camera that dates to the 1940s. Its 85mm lens provides more than enough coverage to make very credible 6x6cm images on 120 film. With the only two potential shutter speeds being "Time" and "Instant," the photographer's options for controlling exposures really come down to changing the aperture. For this selection, anything between f/11 and f/32 is available. And what about focusing? No worries. Agfa has that covered for you with its fixed focus lens. Virtually anything between eight feet and infinity will be in focus for the photographer. See how little there is to think about?
So the next time you think shooting medium format film sounds too difficult, search out an Agfa B2 Speedex Junior, make some wonderful images, and move on to the next intimidating thing in your life.

Agfa B2 Speedex Junior Folding Camera
This Agfa B2 Speedex Junior folding camera is a simple and inexpensive way to get into medium format film. For $20, you can get this pocket-sized machine, which Zeb likens to a "vintage Holga with a better lens." A better comparison maybe, is to the ubiquitous, but bulkier, box cameras that preceded it. This camera has two shutter speed settings, T (time) and I (instant), and it has a variable aperture ranging from f/11-f/32. The focus is fixed.
Inside the camera, you'll find a warning to only use Agfa B2 film but, don't worry, 120 works just fine.
