Sure, any film photographer can jump into a body of water with a Nikonos, filling up rolls of 35mm film with underwater adventures, but it takes a special type of photographer to dedicate themselves to underwater 110 photography. Nonetheless, that is the person Minolta had in mind when they released their Weathermatic A 110 camera. Not only will this spiffy camera have you humming "Yellow Submarine" under your breath, but you could actually dive with it... up to a depth of 16 feet, at least.
Some other cool notes about the Weathermatic A include the large black knob atop the camera for manually choosing between the three different apertures (to complement the fixed 1/200th shutter speed), as well as another large black knob for setting one of five zones for focus. In fact, while those oversized knobs were initially meant to help ease of use while underwater and wearing scuba gloves, their size makes them quite enjoyable to interact with out of water as well. Throw in a built-in flash, powered by a AA battery, and you have a surprisingly well-rounded 110 camera.
While we'd caution against taking it in the water, as age might have compromised the integrity of the seals, the Weathermatic A does make for a perfect all-weather camera. Keep in mind that the 110 format is still quite viable with the selection of films offered by Lomography.
