What began in a college darkroom tucked in the mountains of East Tennessee has been an ever evolving practice of learning to see. Photography has taught me to look with attentive eyes at the grand, the ordinary, and the many moments in between.
My early days began with a Canon AE-1 and a bag full of Tri-X — climbing mountains, driving back country roads, flying across oceans, and sharing time with others. My camera allowed me to see these experiences in a new light and I never looked back.
Through the years, my curiosity has led me to many cameras and photographic processes, from 35mm to wet plate collodion, and quite often these days - the use of a little wooden box known as a pinhole. Though the cameras may change, my curiosity for it all remains.
Sharing in the joy of this medium and the moments that unfold from it is something wonderful to be a part of here at Blue Moon Camera.
