Emi Rodriguez
Emi is a multi-disciplinary human with roots in photography, music, writing, and media production. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, they spent their formative years in the heart of the local folk music scene and went on to work extensively with musicians and artists of many kinds and many backgrounds. In their early 20s, they took up film photography as a serious hobby, and gradually transitioned into spending the better part of the last decade working in film processing.
You’ll most likely find Emi behind the scenes at Blue Moon on the film scanner team, taking care to render digital versions of your memories as beautifully as they were captured. Residing in southeast Portland with their chosen family, you’ll find them wandering local bookstores and coffee shops and quietly capturing simple moments.
