The Ilford 2000RT Paper Developer is a chemical concentrate specifically designed for high-temperature, machine processing of resin-coated, black and white photographic paper. This developer is capable of producing high-quality prints from all Ilford resin-coated papers, as well as many high-quality resin-coated papers made by other manufacturers.
Once diluted, the Ilford 2000RT can be used as both the process tank and the replenisher solutions. Notably, the addition of a developer starter solution is not required for the 2000RT developer, making the process more streamlined.
This developer is compatible with all types of machines used to process resin-coated black and white photographic paper and is particularly recommended for use with the past and present range of Ilford roller transport paper.
The Ilford 2000RT Developer offers robust, clean working, and high print capacity. It operates in the temperature range of between 20-40°C (68-104°F). With most neutral tone papers, the 2000RT developer gives an image color just slightly cool of neutral.
