Kodak Vision3 500T Color Negative Film 7219 is a motion picture film designed to produce the highest quality image in low light situations. The 500T uses Kodak's Dye Layering Technology (DLT) to reduce grain in shadow areas of the image further improving the quality of the final exposure and increasing this film's exposure versatility. To deliver high image-quality in low-light scenes, Vision33 500T film yields higher signal-to-noise ratios and the extended highlight latitude the film provides gives you greater flexibility to pull even more detail out of highlights when lighting extreme situations.
This film is balanced for tungsten lighting conditions at 3000K - 3200K to need no additional filtration. It can be used in daylight conditions with a standard No.85 warming filter.
This is the new generation AHU (Anti-Halation Unit) film that has been manufactured without the addition of a remjet layer.

This change does not alter sensitometric performance, nor does it require any adjustments in processing while product with remjet is still in the market. During the period there is both remjet-backed VISION3 film and the new VISION3 AHU film structure in the market, there is no issue with combining remjet and AHU product together in any workflow. From capture to processing and post-production, the two film structures work together seamlessly.
