This is a B+W 39mm Yellow Basic Filter (#495/022).
A yellow filter is considered ideal for black and white photography, especially landscape photography. This filter can be used to increase contrast in images, as it will darken green and blue tones, while lightening yellow, red, and warm tones found in the scene.
This filter is made with a brass mount and MRC coating, which ensures that liquids simply drip off thanks to the lotus blossom effect. It protects against dirt, makes cleaning easier and ensures that you can get started - even with changes in temperature and humidity, as any fogging disappears more quickly.
