Arista Powder A&B Lith Developer is a two part, non-corrosive, economical developer specifically designed for use with Arista Ortho 3.0, Arista II Ortho Litho, Arista APHS Halftone and Kodalith films. It is also specially formulated for use in the the Lith Printing process of select B&W photographic papers.
- Dissolve contents of Developer Part A into 102 oz. of water at 90 F(32 C); add cold water to get to 128 oz. Repeat for Part B.
- For Ortho Litho Film - Mix equal parts stock solutions of A & B in tray.
- For Lith Printing - Mix equal parts A & B stock solution with 14 parts water, in tray.
When Lith Printing B&W paper, it is important to understand that results are not repeatable - each Lith print is a unique work of art. After each print is made, the makeup of the developer and its reaction to the paper changes. Your developing time, dilution and temperature all affect your outcome.
