I Can Make You Feel Good is the first monograph from photographer, Tyler Mitchell, released in the summer of 2020.
ICMYFG conveys Mitchell's vision of a Black utopia, centering Black joy, optimism, and hope. The physical design of the book itself successfully creates a portal into this vision. The full bleed, matte images locked in a lay flat binding, invite you in almost as a participant to each photograph, each tangible scene.
In his own words, Mitchell describes this photobook as "simply a declaration. And one that I feel is gut punching in its optimism. It feels important at a time like this to declare such a thing."
