This high quality Heliopan linear polarizer is perfect for lenses with 72mm filter threads.
A polarizing filter is one of the most useful filters to have on a lens. It cuts polarized light allowing for deeper color saturation or richer contrast. It is most commonly used in color photography but can also work with B&W photography. The filter has a rotating ring that allows the user to adjust the amount of polarization desired, ranging from full effect to no effect at all.
This is a linear polarizer designed for use with manual lenses. While it can still be used on autofocus lenses, the polarizing effect may block the autofocus beam and prevent the lens from properly autofocusing.
