The Olympia SG-3 is a heavy-duty desktop typewriter made in Germany in the 1960s. The SG-3 was the successor to the popular Olympia SG-1. As a working machine the SG-3 is heavily built and robust. It has a fluid and smooth keystroke that makes typing a joy. Tab set and clear is managed through a series of keys above the keyboard with ribbon control and touch control adjusted via levers to either side of the keyboard. While the SG-3's keyboard lacks a "1", as is common, it adds several other useful keys such as ! 1/4 1/2 3/4 ° 1/ ^ and @. If you need a solid typewriter for heavy duty typing, this is your machine.
This is the Deluxe model of the SG-3. It features the paper injector system for rapid loading of fresh sheets of paper as well as a double kerning key.
