The Vivitar 90-230mm f4.5 Tele-Zoom is a manual focus, telephoto zoom lens with the versatile Vivitar TX lens mount. The TX mount is a removable lens mount, similar to Tamron's Adaptall system. It allows a user to easily convert a Vivitar TX lens to a variety of different lens mounts using the appropriate mount adapter. This is a solid but inexpensive lens for photographers who want to add more telephoto reach to their camera bag and potentially opens the door to using the same lens across different camera systems.
This lens has a Nikon F lens mount adapter that allows this lens to be used with Nikon 35mm SLR cameras compatible with the Non-AI variant of the Nikon F lens mount, such as the original Nikon F and early Nikkormat cameras.
