This Remington Rand De Luxe Model 5 is a 1940's classic portable typewriter. While not designed for as robust of work as a desktop typewriter, the De Luxe Model 5 offers easy portability so you can take your typing on vacation with you. This machine has all the essential controls you need for most typing, including touch control, margins, single or double line spacing and a geared typebar mechanism for maintain type alignment. If you need to type abroad and want to look good doing it, the Remington Rand De Luxe Model 5 is well worth consideration.
Note: The De Luxe Model 5 does not use universal ribbon spools, although universal 1/2" ribbons can be manually respooled on this typewriter's spools.
As with all of our typewriters, this machine has been fully refurbished and is being sold with a fresh ribbon and a six month warranty.
