This Pentax P30T is a manual focus, 35mm SLR camera that uses Pentax PK-A lenses to great effect. While originally marketed as an entry level SLR camera, the P30T has several nice features. It's exposure modes include full program AE, aperture priority, and metered manual as well as a Program Auto Flash mode. Shutter speeds range from 1/1000 down to 1 second, plus Bulb. It has a flash sync of 1/100. There is an electronic self-timer, a depth of field preview and a meter lock switch. This camera will serve a beginning photographer, an avid student photographer or even a serious hobbyist quite well. While it gets the most use out of Pentax PK-A lenses, the P30T can also use PK-M lenses in manual exposure mode or aperture priority modes.
This camera is also known as the Pentax P3N or P30N in other markets.
