The Olympia Deluxe SM9 is a West German-made portable typewriter. Arguably one of the best machines ever made, this device combines functionality, precision and portability. It is considered by some to be the highpoint of Olympia typewriter design. It is the first Olympia to feature a basket, rather than carriage, shift. It has a two tone ribbon selector as well as 1, 1.5 and 2x line spacing. The Tab Set and Clear keys are located on the keyboard for easy adjustment of tabs. And it has clear plexiglass guides for holding thicker papers or cardstocks flush with the platen during typing. This elegant machine will be a star in your home.
