The Nikon 50mm f1.2 Nikkor is one of the fastest manual focus lenses to be found in the Nikon F system. It is an upgrade on the previous 55mm f1.2 and offers excellent performance even when shot at its widest aperture. Speaking of that, this lens has an ultrafast f1.2 maximum aperture that makes it excel in lowlight conditions or at generating incredibly shallow depths of field. This lens has a 52mm filter thread.
This lens has the AI version of the Nikon F lens mount. It is best suited for use on Nikon cameras that are designed for AI lenses such as the FM2 or F3 but it is still backward compatible with Non-AI Nikon cameras as well.
