The Minolta P's is an autoexposure, autofocus compact 35mm film camera that produces a panoramic 12.2mm x 36mm image. It has a prime 24mm f4.5 wide angle lens. There is a built-in electronic flash that can manually be turned off. The Minolta P's also has an electronic self-timer with a 10 second delay. One aspect to the Minolta P's that makes it different from other compact 35mm cameras capable of panoramic mode is that the P's has a very nice, large panoramic viewfinder. It makes framing panoramic images with this camera a joy.
The Minolta P's was also known as the Minolta Riva Panorama in Europe and the Freedom Vista in North America.
