This Nikon F5 is the penultimate 35mm film SLR camera produced by Nikon. Known for its advanced color metering and a self-monitoring shutter to help ensure perfect exposures, it is designed to accept Nikon F-Mount Auto Focus, AI, AIS, and AI'd lenses. The F5 can also accept Nikon's G-series lenses. It cannot accept the Non-AI variant lenses of the Nikon F-Mount.
The F5 handles much like a modern digital camera, with extremely quick autofocus and advanced metering and flash modes. It has a top shutter speed of 1/8000 and can shoot up to 8 frames per second on continuous mode. The camera's motor drive is built in to the camera body, which requires (8) AA batteries to function.
This Nikon F5 is equipped with the standard DP-30 prism.
