The Voigtlander Bessa-T is a 35mm rangefinder camera which was introduced in the early 2000's as a budget Leica M-mount rangefinder camera: the first M-mount camera made by Voigtlander.
The most unique characteristic of the Bessa-T is the lack of a built-in viewfinder window: the 1.5x rangefinder is built into the body while all viewfinders are interchanged separately via the shoe atop the camera. This design was meant to enable photographers to have separate viewfinders which offer a better view of particular framelines than combination frames built into camera bodies. It also catered toward photographers who wanted to mostly use super wide angle lenses that required separate accessory viewfinders anyway. The TTL meter readout is included on the back of the top plate of the camera, eliminating distractions from the rangefinder window.
The camera can sync a flash at 1/125th, but the flash and viewfinders occupy the same shoe, so many photographers prefer to work with hand-held flash units when working with this camera.
Includes original box, Japanese manual, Japanese accessory pamphlet, and Metro Case 3D printed 35mm accessory finder.
