This Pentax 6x7 is a medium format single lens reflex camera that uses 120 film and produces a negative that is 6 x 7cm. The Pentax 6x7 features both interchangeable lenses and prisms. The camera itself lacks a built-in light meter but there is a metered prism accessory that can be paired with the 6x7 to provide TTL metering. While big and heavy, the camera sits well in the hands and is surprisingly usable for its size. Its selection of lenses are known for their quality and the 6x7 is favored by portrait as well as landscape photographers alike.
This is the second version of the 6x7/67 camera line prior to the release of the 67II. The Pentax 6x7 MLU features a mirror lock up and has a number of internal improvements that make more reliable than the original 6x7 non-MLU model.
