The Olympus iS-10 Super DLX is an all-in-one 35mm SLR film camera with a 28-110mm f4.5-5.6 aspherical zoom lens. Cameras such as the iS-10 were commonly known as "ZLR" for their through-the-zoom-lens capabilities. As the camera's name implies, this version of the popular iS-10 is both super and deluxe. It starts with the high-performing zoom lens which incorporates aspherical lens elements for enhanced image quality. But the iS-10 Super DLX offers a number of useful features and modes. There is a built-in, pop-up flash with various modes for controlling its behavior. The camera has a dedicated full Program autoexposure mode alongside scene-specific Program modes. There is an aperture-priority exposure mode that allows for manual control of the aperture. Users have the option for selecting a spot metering, center weighted or fuzzy logic ESP metering modes. The camera has an electronic self-timer and an adjustable diopter. It can accept DX-coded films between ISO 25-3200. Non-DX films are set to ISO 32 with no provision for manual override.
This camera requires two CR123A batteries.
