The Minolta Maxxum 5 (also known as the Dynax 5) is an auto-everything, 35mm SLR camera that was produced toward the end of the film era. When introduced in 2001 it was billed as the smallest and lightest autofocus SLR ever built. The camera features a 7-point autofocus system along with a 14-segment honeycomb-cell TTL meter with full Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual exposure modes. There is a built-in flash as well as self-timer functions. ISO can be set between 6-6400. There is even an "Eye Start" feature that initiates both metering and focusing when the camera is held in hand and the viewfinder is raised to eye level.
The Quantaray 28-90mm f3.5-5.6 lens is a Minolta Maxxum mount lens appropriate for Maxxum film cameras and some Sony Alpha digital cameras.
