This is not the Mamiya 6 you are looking for... or then again, maybe it is. The original Mamiya-6, also referred to as the Mamiya Six, is a folding medium format rangefinder camera that employed a rather unique focusing mechanism for the film plane inside the camera was moved instead of the lens. The Mamiya-6 uses 120 film to make twelve 6x6cm images, though there are late versions of this camera that could switch to 6x4.5 format (and Mamiya produced a mask accessory that fit inside the camera for earlier models). There are several different versions of this camera and lens/shutter combinations vary.
This version of the Mamiya-6 is the 6 IVB, produced in the 1950s and recognizable by its square rangefinder window. This camera is fitted with an Olympus 7.5cm f3.5 D. Zuiko lens.
