The Canon Snappy LX, also known as the BF35 in Japan and the Prima BF in Europe, is a fully automatic compact camera. It features a large viewfinder, built-in flash, and a single focal length 35mm f4.5 lens with fixed focus. The electronically controlled shutter is capable of three shutter speeds: 1/45 sec., 1/60 sec., and 1/250 sec.
This model stands out as the first single focal length camera to have a red-eye reduction feature. It also boasts a two-shot self-timer, allowing users to take two consecutive shots with a single self-timer operation. The Snappy LX is compatible with film speeds of ISO 100 and 200/400 (with DX code).
Powering the Snappy LX requires two AA batteries.
