Introduced in 1969, the Minox C is the successor to the popular Minox B camera. Like the Minox B, the C is a subminiature "spy" camera that uses small cartridges of Minox film (or our Spy Film for Minox film) to produce 8x11mm frames. The Minox C shares many similarities with the previous B model, but adds some improvements. The C has a battery-powered CdS meter and an electronically-controlled shutter capable of automatic exposure. The camera itself is a bit over 2cm longer than the B and is the largest of the subminiature Minox line of cameras. For those familiar with the operation of the Minox B, one nice innovation in the Minox C is that film is not advanced when the camera is opened and closed unless the shutter is fired, allowing the user to save frames when they decided to not make an exposure once they have opened the Minox C.
A PX27 battery is required for use.
