The Canon VT De Luxe is a 35mm rangefinder film camera designed by Canon and produced in the late 1950s. It uses the M39 thread mount, similar to early Leica rangefinder cameras. The VT de Luxe has a focal plane shutter with top speed of 1/1000. It also features a bottom-mounted rapid trigger mechanism to advance the film, similar to a Leicavit as well as a hinged back door for easy film loading.
Canon released a few slight variations on the VT de Luxe. This is the second version, also known as the VT de Luxe Z. It is almost identical to the original but the baseplate has a key for unlocking the back door.
Due to the lack of service technicians for this model, this camera is sold as-is with no warranty.
