The Pentax LX is a 35mm single lens reflex film camera designed for Pentax PK mount lenses. It is fully compatible with both PK-M and PK-A lenses. The LX is a professional level Pentax SLR that features both manual and aperture priority metering. It has exposure compensation, mechanical self-timer and depth of field preview. The camera has a sophisticated metering system that uses dynamic, off-the-film plane, TTL meter. It also has the ability to interchange prisms.
This LX currently has the FA-1 prism and comes with the Pentax Winder LX.
This camera is being sold without a warranty. The LX is known for developing issues with age and there is limited availability of repair services. The depth of field preview button on this camera is not working. This camera is also missing both motor drive caps from the base plate of the camera but will still work just fine without them. There is some corrosion in the battery chamber of the winder.
