The Nikon FTn is a Nikon 35mm single lens reflex film camera designed to accept Nikon Non-AI lenses.  It can can use later generations of Nikon F-mount lenses such as AI and AIS but in order for the camera's meter to work without using stop down metering, the lens will need to have an external meter coupling prong, commonly described as "rabbit ears."
