The Leitz 35mm f2 Summicron-M is a wide angle, prime focal length lens made for the Leica system of rangefinder cameras. It is one of the smallest and lightest 35mm lenses Leica ever made for their M-mount rangefinders.
Produced in several different versions over its production run, this lens is a Version 4, and is famously known as the "King of Bokeh". Even more specifically, it is a Made in Germany version, produced between 1987 to 1996. This lens features a 7 element lens design with a 10-bladed aperture. It has a 64 degree angle of view with a close focus of 0.7 meters (2.3 feet). Aperture range is f2 to f16. It uses E39 filters.
