Built from brass and mahogany, the Wisner Technical Field camera is a dream come true for the large format photographer looking to combine the portability of a field camera with the versatility of a technical camera. The Wisner Technical Field cameras incorporate a geared axis tilt on the rear standard that is controlled by a knob on the opposite side of the standard from the focus knobs, allowing both focus and tilt to be adjusted simultaneously. These cameras also have a parallel rear rise system that maintains focus regardless of rear tilt. In addition to these movements, the Technical Field camera is capable of rear swing. Front movements include center axis tilt, rise, shift and swing. The ground glass focusing screen and film holder is easily removable for rotating between horizontal or vertical orientation. The hand-lacquered brass beautifully compliments the precision mahogany woodwork and kid leather bellows.
This camera is made to make up to 11x14 inch images, but does not include the necessary back to make 11x14 images.
