This Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 LD Tele-Macro 1:2 is an auto-focus, telephoto zoom lens that delivers good quality at reasonable pricing. It's optical design incorporates LD (low dispersion) optics for reduced chromatic aberration and better image quality. In addition to its excellent reach with a maximum 300mm focal length, this lens also features a macro mode that can allow focusing as close as 0.95 meters and a magnification ratio of 1:2 at 300mm.
This lens fits auto-focus Pentax cameras, both film and digital. It is also backwards compatible with Pentax cameras that use a program mode, such as the Super Program and with older, manual Pentax bodies, such as the K1000.
This lens has a 62mm filter thread.
