The Schneider-Kreuznach Center-Filter III is designed with for the Schneider-Kreuznach 65mm f5.6 and 75mm f5.6 Super Angulon lenses. The filter is designed to compensate for the natural fall-off of illumination which occurs around the edges of images taken with these lenses by gradually becoming more transparent towards the edges. For maximum results, it is necessary to stop down one's lens by one to two full stops from maximum when using a center filter. This filter has a filter factor of 1.5 stops when calculating exposure. It has an 86mm front thread for mounting additional filters.
