This Nikon 135mm f2 Nikkor is a telephoto, manual focus lens with a fast max aperture of f2. This lens is a photojournalist's dream, allowing good reach while providing excellent isolation of subject from background. It also excels in lower light conditions and helps the camera maintain faster shutter speeds with its very fast maximum aperture. This lens does really well in portraiture and wedding photography, rendering subjects crisply against defocused backgrounds. This lens has a 72mm filter thread.
This lens is the AIS version and is most compatible with later manual focus Nikon SLR cameras. It is fully backward compatible with Nikon cameras that accept AI and Non-AI lenses.
