The Minolta Chroma Meter XY-1 is a lightweight and compact tristimulus color analyzer. It uses three high-sensitivity silicon photo cells to match CIE Standard Observer response. The Chroma Meter XY-1 takes simultaneous readings of light source and subject color and can display Chromaticity coordinates (x,y) or illuminance (y) as well as color temperature in Kelvin (K).

This meter requires one standard 9-volt battery for power.
