The Canon T70 took many of the advanced features enjoyed on the popular Canon A-1 camera and introduced them to the T-series. The T70 features three different Program exposure modes (standard, telephoto/high speed, and wide angle/depth of field). It also includes Shutter Priority and metered Manual modes. The T70 has both center-weighted as well as partial metering modes. Shutter speeds range from 2 seconds to 1/1000, with Bulb and X-sync (1/90 or 1/60 depending on the flash) modes. The camera has a built-in, motorized film advance and rewind. It is capable of double exposures and has a depth of field preview. The Canon T70 was designed to work best with Canon FD-mount lenses but can be used with FL-mount lenses with some loss of advanced functions.
