The original Minolta Autocord (also referred to as the Autocord A) is a medium format, twin lens reflex (TLR) camera that uses 120 film to produce twelve 6x6cm frames per roll. The Autocord A is fitted with a 75mm f3.5 Rokkor taking lens set below a f3.2 viewing lens. The camera uses a unique focusing lever below the face of the camera. It has automatic film advance that also resets the shutter, in a very similar fashion to Rolleiflex cameras. Shutter speeds range from 1 second to 1/400, plus Bulb. There is both an M and X for flash sync and a mechanical self-timer (though we recommend not using this unless the shutter system has been fully overhauled as self-timers are prone to sticking and locking up the shutter).
