This Schneider-Kreuznach 150mm f9 is part of Schneider's G-Claron family of large format lenses. These lenses were designed specifically for graphic arts purposes but are very versatile and useful in an array of large format photography applications. This 150mm is compact in size and light in weight making it an easy lens to carry into the field. It has a flat field design that is well suited for studio still life or macro photography, or as a large format enlarging lens.
When used at infinity focus, this lens has enough coverage for 5x7 format with an image circle of 189mm (f22). When used at 1:1 reproduction it can actually cover up to 8x10 with an image circle of 378mm (f22).
This lens comes mounted in a Copal No. 0 shutter.
