The Ries J100-2 wooden tripod is an improvement on the earlier J100 model. It is incredibly lightweight at 10 lbs, but is heavy-duty and sturdy enough to accommodate up to 65 lbs of gear. This would make it an ideal tripod for large format, cinema, medium format, and digital shooters alike. The "tri-lock" system incorporated into the tripod head makes this camera incredibly stable, and the wooden legs have been specifically designed to minimize camera shake. The tripod can be adjusted for a minimum height of 12 inches when legs are fully spread, and it has a maximum height of 62 inches when the legs are extended.
