The Hasselblad 500C/M is a modular 6x6 medium-format SLR camera system. It has the ability to change lenses, film backs, focusing screens, winder knobs and prisms to customize the camera to the user's needs or preferences. It also uses the legendary Carl Zeiss lenses, which produce superb images of amazing sharpness and clarity. The 500C/M is very similar to the earlier 500C but offers and improved mirror mechanism as well as interchangeable focusing screens, but is fully compatible with all the same lenses, film backs, and finders.
