The Crown No. 4 is a vintage wooden tripod made by Folmer & Schwing and then later by Graflex. It was designed to be portable, versatile and to work well with the Graflex Crown and Speed cameras. It features 3-section wooden legs (perfect for absorbing vibration while still being lightweight). When not in use all three legs detach from the baseplate and fold up, allowing the tripod to be stored in the same large carrying case that some Graflex cameras were carried in.

The baseplate is fitted with a 1/4in thread for attaching directly to the base of the camera.
